Some changes are good. Not going to say nothing bad about those. On the other hand there are some changes that I don't like about the direction 6e is going. Like forcing you to choose between ASI or feats instead of just giving you both. Also how there are some bad nerfs for druids, paladins, bards, & rogues. It looks like they are trying to simplify it, but they are going overboard with the simplification. It sucks now that you can't combine spell smites with divine smites but at least you can now smite with a bow.
They do give you both ASIs and feats- look at the 4th level feats that we've gotten so far. ALL of them have ASIs built-in. The nerfs for druids, bards, and rogues are valid complaints, but honestly paladins were too good before. Plus, they made some of the smite spells actually decent, so not being able to stack divine and spell smites might just mean that not everybody uses all their slots on divine smite instead of the inarguably cooler options.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

You mean half feats and half ASI with a choice of just ASI? Yeah, no...it is not the same. They need to separate ASI from being tied to feats similar to how it was in previous editions. I don't mind having tiered feats where some feats are more powerful and can only be obtained at later levels, but the feats they give now are just weak. Feats also should not be an optional rule.
Well, with this release, and a suggestion that solved a problem separately, I found that I needed to get Druids back into my game, and found that I can use what was a slot reserved for “shaman” to do it, so these will help me in a lot of ways.
granted, they won’t be Druids like the folks expect, but what can you expect when you really dive into the nature of spirits, nature, and still need a reason for them to go out into the world and go adventuring. It does place Rangers as the sort of Martial counterpart to them like Paladins are for Clerics.
some useful stuff in there. I am going to divide exhaustion into Fatigued and Exhausted, have a two stage process.
we play tonight for testing!

All of the above as far as the survey goes. Sure their initial ideas often need work, but I'm excited to crack open each playtest packet because they are threading the needle of making material changes to D&D while having it still feel fundamentally like 5e in my mind.
