Similar flavor to Hexblade... your bloodline has been touched by Blackrazor or some such.
Maybe you're a descendent of Kas (Like the Sword of Kas).
Maybe the sorcerer equivalent to hexblade and bladesinger could be that your sorcerer has some sort of innate weapon strengthening/endurance magic abilities that allows them to use their magic to augment their middling physical abilities as well as channel their magic through their weapons? Like a battle enchanter or some shit? Is that too close to artificer?

It's ok Ranger, you'll always be cool to me.. Unless druid gets another use for its wild shape charges.
I’m not saying that the Bladesinger is broken, but it is a wee bit unbalanced. Assuming High Elf with a Standard Array for Ability scores: 15, 14, 13, blah, blah, blah:
At 2nd level, wearing Studded Leather Armor and with the Bladesong active the Character has an AC of 17, a movement of 40 feet, and a +5 to Concentration checks.
Okay, that’s not too bad. That’s only a better AC than the party’s Barbarian, Monk, or a Fighter in anything less than Half Plate with Shield. Their only just as fast as the Monk until 6th level. They only have the same save for concentration that the Sorcerer has despite the Sorcerer actually being proficient in that save. It’s not like that’s gonna get any more unbalanced with ASIs, and feats like Warcaster. Oh wait, that’s right....
Now imagine if that Character actually rolled their stats and got something better than the Standard Array. That’s not hard as the Standard Array is, to quote Yurei, “hot moose piss.”
Like i said, they’re not broken, but they’re not quite balanced either.
There is a martial druid class, it's called the Circle of the Moon.
Otherwise, it would be cool to see a druid that can use wild shape to improve their attacks without fully changing form, almost like Path of the Beast for barbarians.
Bladesingers are a bit unbalanced, I would even go as far to say that they are better at war magic than War Wizards are. The constant AC bonus, along with increased speed, and improved concentration checks, way better if you want to be a battle mage.

First, D6 hit die. Second, the blade song, the thing that even makes them remotely viable and the entire reason for taking what you took, is a bonus action on your turn, so anything in that first round is dealing with a squishy wizard. Third, the answer to being a squishy wizard, is a level 10 ability, which is a looong slog as a melee wizard and it's a REACTION which you can only do once per round and wont hold up against a multi attack. There's a lot to love about the Bladesinger, but most of it is flavor and style (which the subclass is absolutely dripping with), mechanically I'd rate it subpar, but the theme elevates it. And before anyone asks "Why would you want to use this as a Melee wizard?!" My answer is, if I choose this, why the heck would i NOT want to be running up in the melee as a rapier wielding gracefully dancing robed badass.
War Mages on the other hand approach things much differently. That +int to initiative ability isn't just fluff, it's style defining. As a War Mage you want to make sure you go real early in intiative, prep a large scale battlefield control spell, and start to direct the flow of the fight. Once you gain that tactical control, you don't let go if it and you let the fighters and the barbarians and the rogues go to town picking apart the ruined battle plans of the enemy. But none of that means that you are up in the front getting your feet dirty, you're in the back directing the weave like the badass spell caster you are. Your defensive abilities, Arcane Deflection and Durable Magic, are all about maintaining that Slow or Hypnotic Pattern, or wall of fire, or multi target hold person because once you reveal yourself on the battlefield, you are going to be the primary target of any enemy you don't already have on lockdown.
Edit: I should have prefaced this with I actually played an AL Arcane Trickster/Bladesinger combo which synnergized extremely well, essentially upgrading my rogues spell casting and offensive capacities in one swoop as well as a War Mage Wizard in a Campaign adventure (short lived and we only got to level 5) so my comments are based on my research and personal experiences. I'm hoping to bring that War Mage back around again, he did survive at the end.
Saying that the Bladesinger isn’t objectively more powerful than every PHB Wizard subclass because the War Mage is even more unbalanced is like saying that the War Mage isn’t unbalanced compared to every other Wizard subclass because Hexblade exists.
Whether or not it's busted compared to heavily optimized multiclass melee builds is irrelevant. The Bladesinger is objectively better than every other wizard subclass in the books by a mile. Ostensibly this is balanced by being restricted to only a single race (ideally with the player having to justify why this deeply isolationist character with special talents is Wandering The World)...but as the player is not required to do that and elves are inarguably one of the most powerful species in the game...not s'much.
War Magic is good, and also objectively better than most other schools of magic. It does not hold up to Bladesinger, which gets ninety percent of its relevant subclass abilities at level 2 and the final ten percent at level 6. War Magic only even partially compares if the wizard does the cheesy "start with one level of fighter" thing.
ANYWAYS.
Obviously we're getting more subclasses next. This insane deluge of subclassery is nuts. We just got a barb, a monk, a crappy-ass warlock, and a palladalladingdong that's oddly forgettable for how ridiculously potent it is. So none of those. Are there any classes out right now without two active UA subclasses? . .. ... ...one double check later.
Sorcerer, druid, and ranger each only have one. Psionic ranger would fit previous pokes at psionic releases, and the druid could use anything that isn't frickin' Moon. I'm a little frightened of any potential new sorcerers, though. Aberrant Mind was amazing but definitely overshadows every other Origin as written, and after the crushing disappointment that is the 'Noble Genie Patron', I don't know if I trust Wizards to come up with cool ideas anymore +_+

Lingering Soul home brew class by Matt Mercer, Calling of the Poultergeist subclass.
That might make for a cool sorcerer subclass.
I love the idea of an undead sorcerer, but that might be too close to shadow sorcerer.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
good point.
There needs to be a weapon using sorcerer. Not Giant Soul, that was bad, but some equivalent of the bladesinger or Hexblade for the sorcerer.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
Interesting, what would that imply bloodline-wise?
Maybe not quite as powerful as the Bladesinger. That’s just a wee bit broken.

Partway through the quest for absolute truth.

You were cursed or blessed by a god to summon weapons or something.
Maybe a sentient magic weapon merged with your body, almost like a symbiont magic item, and it gives you supernatural abilities.

Why are bladesingers OP? I always thought that they weren't that great at melee, but were just better at concentration and armor class, so on.

I was about to ask the same question, they didn't seem overpowered at all to me. Its not like it gets battle magic or war magic/improved war magic.
