I'm not seeing any mention in their FAQ and I'm not seeing anywhere in the new Marketplace that these are options anymore. I know these were on the expensive side and had no tie in to a physical bundle, but none of these 3 options look to be available anymore.
Well at least the UX is worse. 🙄 No indication of what I already own without clicking through to a details page. No more discount for having purchased the Legendary Bundle (although it says "Legendary Bundle Discount" so this may be a bug).

both are bugs...the discount thing has been fixed, you just gotta get all the way to the end of the purchase process before you see it.
Damn, I've been looking at the legendary bundle for a while because I was thinking of DM:ing more.
In all fairness, Players could take on at least some of the financial burden. The expectation by many players that the DM has to buy everything is not cool.

That depends on who you are recruiting for games and how often you play, I find getting someone to start it is a lot easier to have everything they would need/want to play without them having to spend anything but time until they want too. Makes it easy to get enough people for a game be it a one shot or an adventure it is also a handy way for others to try DMing with content sharing when you have lots of content for them to choose from.
The legendary bundle was great for this, though it was a lot cheaper when I bought it, and the discount on future purchases was a cool way to add books as they were released. At least the discount is still around for now.

I'm the player that share all things with my group(s), not everyone expects it to be the DM's responsibility. I doubt I'm the only one, though I have been a DM at different times along the journey too.

I mostly want to get it for myself. I live having things. It comes with the bonus that I convince my friends to play with me. They compensate me with a place to play and snacks.

I wouldn't call that fixed. It should show the cost for purchase (with discount) on the details page directly, not wait until you add it to the cart. Also, these are both significant bugs that should have been fixed before launching the new marketplace.

Meh. As helpful it might be to see if I own a book or does my discount apply might be on the sales page, I think it would be much more useful to filter out purchased content like the old system allowed. If I went to the marketplace, it only showed me stuff I hadn't bought yet. Not having that ability is far more detrimental to navigating the marketplace.
I will say that I'm not 100% sure that our bundle discounts worked when buying something you already own as a gift. I figured that was the rule, you got the Legendary Bundle at whatever % off the cumulative price of the books + a 15% discount on all future wotc books. That doesn't include a 2nd book for your buddy in the next town over or your kid away at college.
But in this new store, my Legendary Bundle discount seems to apply to gift purchases as well:
I checked purchase as a gift and the discount is still there. I can't set a quantity obviously, so I can only buy 1. I could give a code to someone.
Oh look, I can do it again
So apparently Legendary Bundle purchasers can gift buy as many people as they want for a permanent 15% off the digital price. I think the Sourcebook and Adventure book people got 10% Sourcebooks or Adventure books.

Ooh! Nice! At least some good news. But since new people cannot get the Legendary Bundle anymore, Wizards would disincentivize people to collect all the books. For me, one of the reasons why I got everything was because they gave a discount when you buy the bundle, AND it gives you a discount on future bundles too.

Yeah, I saw the bundles as a way to reward longtime users. I'm glad i got the sourcebundle at least.
I realize this will make me sound like an apologist, when I’m not. I do think removing bundles is a bad idea.
Maybe they’re doing it in advance of the rules revision.🤷♂️ I mean, if you bought the bundle with the PHB, Xanathar’s and Tasha’s. And a few months later, 1/3 of that was obsolete. And really, the base 1/3 that the other 2/3 depend on. People would be pretty upset. I realize that kind of argues for removing the PHB altogether, and that might be something to consider, or at least post something on the page saying this book will soon be replaced. I don’t know. But it is kind of a tricky time for their book sales.
Really, once again, the big fault lies with their communications team. They should be out in front of this (and also how they’re removing the option to buy parts). Just leaving people to figure it out for themselves is terrible strategy. They should really know by now that the vacuum will be filled by conspiratorial YouTubers, and then they’re left cleaning up that mess.

I don't see point of it through, removing those purchase options. At this point in the life cycle, new Legendary Bundle purchasers are putting up over a thousand dollars for it. I've had it for years, but every source book, every adventure is a lot! Just by releasing new books, they are increasing the price of a Legendary Bundle. 15% off the entire package with a promised 15% off future purchases? You sell that to rich people!
Or you sell it to people like me who have been saving and finally get the money on a well earned tax return only to find that I'm now just another buck to be banked.
The Hasbro Hammer has fallen. Welcome to the New Age.
I'll be aggressively using unsanctioned and third party content moving forward and gearing my game mechanics away from the useful tools that D&D beyond brought to DM's. I did it before and it is not hard to do it again. In light of the OGL conflict, this feels punitive and shortsighted. I should have moved to unofficial content sooner. I'll be porting all of my homebrew content and moving away from Canon (copywritten) material asap.
I get that they need to make a profit, but if there was ever a cult following that you could bank on, this was it. Now they are just another company squeezing for every penny they can get.
Good Job Hasbro. You suck.

When all the stories have been told, begin again anew.
It's a blatant money grab and Hasbro should be ashamed.
I wish they would actually grab the money. In this case, it feels like they are leaving money on the table. Customers are literally throwing what little money they have at Wizards, and Wizards just throws it back saying they do not want chump change.
Eh, they think it's an easy money grab, which is the problem.

So, the 15% discount does apply but does not show until the purchase is made? That needs to be fixed if it is the case. I don't know if this is actually the case because I am not going to buy a new product without knowing if my discount is going to apply.

It looks like the Marketplace is moving away from those deals to push the new plan of bundling physical and digital purchases.
