Previously in 2014, the Polearm Master feat's reaction attack was specifically described as an "Opportunity Attack". In 2024, it is now just a "melee attack as a reaction", not an opportunity attack. So now, Sentinel, which only reduces the enemy speed to 0 on an Opportunity Attack does not do so when using the Polearm Master reaction.
Reactive Strike. While you’re holding a Quarterstaff, a Spear, or a weapon that has the Heavy and Reach properties, you can take a Reaction to make one melee attack against a creature that enters the reach you have with that weapon.
Edit: Just realised I was looking at a homebrew reaction, sorry :(
BTW, any other old feats that got changed? (I know Chef did, but not much else)
Mobile has had its name changed to Speedy. It also doesn't let you escape Opportunity Attacks for free anymore, but instead just gives enemies disadvantage to hitting you if try to move.

That's fair. Being immune to oppertunity attacks is kinda op, so thats fair. Any new synergy/feat combo's available?

Another thing I just realised, before it said any POLEARM weapon. Now it specifies. Which makes sense, cause stopping someone in their tracks with a Lance is stupid, but anyway.

I don't think that sentinel is a reaction feat anymore.
I'm not sure if this is correct but I've seen many people complain about the Polearm Sentinel combo no longer working because of the new wording.
IMO, if the polearm sentinel combo no longer works, it is only because sentinels OA is no longer a reaction.
The feats no longer synergyse because Reactive Strike is not an Opportunity Attack but a melee attack as a Reaction.
Im confused? I used to play sentinal Polearm, and I don't have the DND 2024 Rules yet, so can someone explain to me what changed?
