Why, oh why, when a source is purchased do the maps not scale at all for VTT systems? Please! Just include links to resources that can be used in a VTT.
Suggestions:
Provide a link to the high res asset
Provide the grid size, width, and height
If you're going to draw the grid, for the love all the deities, make it align across the map!
After bringing the map into photoshop, it does indeed to appear to be a little skewed. Maybe 3 or 4 degrees, but enough to making aligning the image tough on roll20.

Waste of good art
DDB does not draw the maps. They are provided by WotC (the publisher).
Pretty sure I have seen tutorials on YouTube on how to make the grid align (assuming it is roughly accurate).
Keep in mind there's no one vtt scale. Each service uses a different grid scale.

No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get that map to align in Roll20. I’m convinced the grid is slanted.

Just disable the grid in roll20 and use the map as it is. Your players will be able to move their tokens without snap to grid. ;-)
It looks like that specific map is 0.5 degrees rotated. I use Paint.net for my image manipulation needs. Using that tool you can fix it as follows:

Edit: Appears to be a counter-clockwise rotation of 0.25 degrees for those interested. :)
As the OP, I'll reiterate this. ;) Thanks to those that tracked down the specific issue.
I am now using https://www.vttassets.com/articles where with a few clicks a fully correct adventure map is imported (grid, walls, lights, notes) into https://foundryvtt.com/ .
