so I have a couple of things I dont seem to find how to do, if they're possible at all
first of, is there a way to learn a number of spells equal to a modifier? or to a calculation like modifier+proficiency bonus?
or to be able to prepare them? (like, as a prepare caster to increase your number of prepared spells, and as a learn caster to gain a number of prepared spells), maybe give a learn caster a smaller wizard's spell book or the like
second of is there a way to add spells to the spell list a subclass can learn from as a choice? as in, the player themself gets to pick those spells and such; I know I can make that for allways known spells, but not spells that could be known/prepared, and I can add spells that aren't allways prepared to a list of a prepared caster's
I also know I can add specific spells and spell lists at the "basic information" thing for any kind of caster, and I can even add a spell list by adding a spell feature with infinite options and restricting it to a specific list if I wanted to make a subclass have an option between different classes' spell lists
but I cant seem to find a way to let the player pick spells to add to their spell list, kinda like a sort of bard's magical secrets but not allways know haha

and on the second, the answer to what I'm looking for isnt there, I'm trying to let the player choose what spell they want (or choose from a list of spells or the like), and have those spells be spells the character could learn instead of a having it as known
I know I can add any specific spells, but I dont know how to let the player choose spells to add themselves to their class spell list
Ahh, sorry, that’s not possible. You wrote that you wanted it towlines k the way magical secrets works, and those were coded according to #15 as far as I’m aware.
