Well that definitely limits things, it would be a much better option if they just put the cost, damage, properties, etc in the magic item creator itself, that way we can make whatever weapon we want, since that is literally the whole point of homebrew.
Is there something im missing? I cant seem to find where i imput my homebrew magic items properties (ie heavy, two handed, reach, finesse, etc)
Those properties are inherited from the item you select as the basis for your magic item

You can omit some of the base item’s properties by using the following Modifier:
And you can add weapon properties with the following Modifier:
