Trying to go Sorc 10/Wiz 1 to add up to 6th level spells for preparable slots, rather than just 1st level. I know this is not how it works RAW, but I wish to change that.
I can add a selection option to pick new spells in the dropdown, but they will then go up as Always Prepared/At Will, and not something that simply gets added to the spellbook of preparable spells, and TBH, it's very messy if I wanted to change out spells. Additional Spell List seems to only do 1 spell at a time, and I'd rather not do those 1-by-1
So far I've tried with feats, changes to my Sorc subclass, creating my own Wiz subclass just for adding spells. None of them seems to interact with the Known/Prepared spells system

Is this possible?
The only way I've been able to make it work is by doing the following:
1) Go into the Homebrew section and Create a Spell
2) Make a copy of the spell you want to select for the character.
3) Make the following changes: Give it a new name, set the level to 1, and remove it from all class lists except Wizard.
4) Go into Manage Spells on the character in question and add it to their Wizard spell book, and they will now be able to prepare it.
Done, the only catch is that it shows up as being castable with a lower level spell slot than you can actually use, but the character will now be able to learn the spell in the system and cast it with any level spell slot they might have.
