After hours of searching for a fix, I haven't found anything that has helped my issue, so I'm hoping you wonderful people can help me with what I'm doing wrong! I'm creatingthis equipped weapon (Test Hammer) that has 3 spells it can cast once a day,(the spells are Thunderwave, Thunder Step, and Chain Lightning) I can add the first spell fine with the number of charges I want, but when I add the second one there's nothing and of course no luck when adding a third. Ideally, the weapon would only have 3 charges since it can only cast each spell once but at this point, I would be ecstatic if it just worked at all. I've looked through other posts that had issues and tried their fixes but to no success, I've seen other weapons that do the exact thing I want (the equipped Blade of Broken Mirrors) but I have no idea how it's done! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I think the issue you are having is that isn’t how charges work exactly. What spells are you trying to attach?
Oh okay! I'm trying to add Thunderwave, Thunder Step, and Chain Lightning. How exactly do charges work? Does the item essentially need to have 1 charge per level of each Spell?

Basically. It used to be that things worked a little differently, but lately it seems to work in a particular way. It might be easier for you to search through the list of magic items you have access to until you find something close and just change the spells. If that doesn’t work, if you can find no other way....
Try setting Thunderwave as Min/Max 1 charge, cast at level 1, Thunder Step as Min/Max 2 charges, cast at level 3, and Chain Lightning as Min/Max 3 charge, cast at level 6. Give the item 6 charges and write in the description that they can only cast each spell 1ce/day. Give that a shot.

I cannot believe I didn't just check the template for the item that had it the way I wanted it and go from there, how embarrassing. I did it exactly how the correct item had it and it seems to have worked! It is odd though, I checked the first one I made to see where I went wrong and it looks identical to the new item I made except the new one actually works. Oh well, at least it's working! Thank you so much for all of your help! I really, really appreciate it!

What was the item you modeled this after? I'm trying to do something similar and can't get it to work quite right.
What precisely are you trying to accomplish?
