I'm trying to create a homebrew subclass that increases maximum HP by a fixed amount, for reasons. Lets call it 20.
I'm struggling to work out how to do this.
I've tried adding a modifier Bonus Hit Points 2, and I've also tried Bonus Maximum Hit Points 2, neither seems to increase the HP of the character when I select that subclass.
Basically I want to make it so that I don't keep accidentally lowering my character's HP every time I forget to untick the 'reset maximum hp changes' box on a long rest.
Is there any way to do this? The options on homebrew items/feats appear to be the same, am I doing something wrong or is what I want to do just not possible?
There is no way to increase HP by a fixed amount through homebrew, only by a fixed amount per level. Simply increase the character’s HP by 20 and it won’t reset.

I think this has been fixed because [Modifier > Bonus > Hit Points] works for me currently!
