i'm making a homebrew race with access to a few spells and spell slots from a optional racial trait but i have NO idea how to get ether (allow the use of more than just one spell but still have a choice and how to add spell slots onto the race page) to come up. anyone know how to get it to work? any help would be greatly appreciated.
You cannot add “spell slots” but you can make them as “limited use.”
Let me get this strait, you want to grant them 2 spells that they could cast, but have the same pool of limited uses for both spells instead of each spell being cast 1ce/day. Is that correct?
That link is no help, it just takes everyone to their own collections.
What exactly is it saying to you.
Also, just because you cannot publish it doesn’t mean you cannot use it. If you just finished writing it then it is nowhere near ready to publish. You should playtest and edit it for at least a couple of months before publishing it. Once it’s published you can no longer fix it without a big headache.

ok thank you for the spell slot help and sorry i was half asleep when i typed it lol.
so if i want to give a player access to lets just say three lvl 1 sorcerer spells, i didn't know how to let people pick three out of all lvl 1 sorcerer spells.
when i tried altering some things it gave me every sorcerer spell to pick and use when i just wanted three out of the list of lvl 1 spells. (i think i remembered how to make them a limited use of spells but picking from the spell list is my problem, when i try to mess with stuff it's ether one spell or all spells)

Ability Score—>Cha (if you want a different Spellcasting ability modifier, pick that instead)

Reset Type—>Long Rest
Cast at Level—>1
Consumes Spell Slot—>No
Counts as Known—>No

SAVE
