I've made a homebrew race with the purpose of changing the base concept of the changeling race for my private game. Whenever I try to make changes to a homebrew race after I tried it out on a character (and seeing for example a typo I need to change) the changes are not put through. I've tried the following:
- Changing the race of the character to a different race and changing it back. - Deleting the character and making a new one. - Closing the tabs with the saved race homebrew page.
What did work was deleting the whole homebrew race and starting again, but that seems like a strange workflow. Not being able to test/debug mistakes in the already not that userfriendly homebrew environment makes it extra hard.
Am i doing something wrong or is this just how it is for now?
After you make changes to a homebrew you have to re-save the whole thing using the main save button. That will trigger the system to pick up your changes. After that it can take anywhere from a second or two to up to 15 minutes for those changes to push through to the character sheet. After that, the character sheet needs to be refreshed.

Kind regards, Nesmelliw
I've found a somewhat workable workflow by making a new race based on the homebrewrace I want to make tweaks to. A bit inefficient though.

Ty for the reply. I'll try the 15 minuit wait next time. Maybe I was just too impatient ;)
I’ll bet recreating the whole thing took longer that the server update would have. 😉
