I'd like to be able to add bonus attunement slots through homebrewed magic items. I see I can use Set to set the attunement slots to a certain value. However, through feats I can add additional attunement slots. I want to be able to add additional slots through magic items instead of set so those two could stack if I so desired. Right now, the magic item "set" overrides the feat's "bonus."
For example, I created https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/1779377-gestalt-amulet. It's cool and almost does what I need. But if someone uses a feat that I have from the Critical Role homebrew which adds an attunement slot, then this item won't add one, it'll just be stuck at 4 slots. No matter what I do, it also won't let someone stack this item, if I wanted to, so I had to just put in the flavor text that this can't stack with anything, even if I wanted it to (and I do want that option).
There is no modifier for “bonus Attunement slots” only for “Set Attunement slots.” What you are looking for is “Additional Bonus Types” but I’m not even sure that works.
PS- “Aditional Bonus Types” is already a ting. Modifier & subtype are at the top of the homebrewer “add modifier” section, “Additional Bonus Types” is down at the bottom of the same section.
I can't figure out how to get the additional bonus types to actually work. I can see the option for "Attuned Item Count" in additional bonus types, but have no idea what the Modifier and Subtype need to be set to in order to get this to work.

I don’t think it does work. That other homebrew Crit Role content you are using probably also uses the “Set” modifier as well.

Was this ever solved? I am trying to do the same thing on a magic item I am trying to Homebrew. So far, all I can figure out is how to set a new base number of Attunement slots, not how to add additional Attunement slots . . .

Yeah, I put in a support ticket and was told to just put in the request on the forums. I guess that's how requesting new features works here.
Wrong forum. This is the forum for people who need help getting their homebrew to work. You want here:

Ah Cool, I'll post that there.

As I explained before. There is nothing to “solve” it is only possible to set a new number of slots and not possible to simply add them.
