Um.... So please forgive me if I sound weird or anything since I've never done a forum post on here before, I'm not used to it. Hehehe...
Okay, so I'm currently trying to make a homebrew race or well group of dragons I call Spirit Dragons that is for of course a homebrew campaign setting or idea, whichever one ya want to use. LOL In my setting Spirit Dragons are basically the strongest and oldest group of dragons, even when compared to like a red or gold is how I plan it to be anyway though just like the two best-known groups of dragons of D&D each spirit dragon can use an element like gold - fire, blue - lightning, silver - cold, etc. But I'm not sure how to do this without doing like separate 5 or more versions, I honestly want it to be simple and easy to for me and even others if I share it to easily be like I want this one to use fire or this one cold and so on, not have to be like "Wait, gotta open this one and that one". This is my first homebrew D&D race/monster, I've made a race before but not for D&D so I'm not sure what to do, writing without having to worry about certain things is easy but making my idea fit a game I'm finding challenging, so I need help, please. Please, please, please! I need some help or well something please! Cause I love this game I want to make this race just so darn much.
Thanks to anyone who reads this by the way, also on a festive note, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! LOL
Okay, I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for. Do you need help making the stat blocks themselves? Or are you having trouble making the different stat blocks unique?

Okay, is it a Race, or is it a Monster? If they are Monsters, you need to make one, and then you should be able to use that one as a template to make the rest.
If this is a Race, you either need to create a race with subraces, a race with variant races, or you have to make it like the Dragonborn and make it a race with Options. If you want it to be as simple as the Dragonborn, the easiest way to do it would be to make a race using them as the template and then just change what you need to.
