I tried creating a monster in the homebrew section, I cant seem to add a custom tag to the "Monster Tag" field. Every time I type in something that doesn't exisit when I go to move off the text field it goes blank. Can you not create your own tags for things. If not is this something that is going to get fixed?
Do you have any suggestions on how I can do some sort of tagging so that I can easily find what Im looking for? If I import a bunch of monsters I would like some way of knowing where they came from, say like something I got from DMGuild that I create a homebrew monster off of, for my personal use that I want to find easily. Especially with the combat tracker it would be nice to add them into my homebrew for use in that but identifying the source would go a long way.
Thanks, it would be nice if they implemented something, it seems like it would be trivial to add custom tags these days. Most apps have it, or some way to group collections together like a folder structure, but I think tags would be simple.
I feel the same way - the existing tags are quite limited. It’s not a great solution but I’ve been adding specific strings to the the version field when making homebrew monsters...

Custom tags aren't an option for homebrew

The easiest way would be to add something to the name. Like “Snuffelupagus [Sesame St.]”
Or to add something to the “notes” field, although that isn’t visible everywhere.
