I have created a piece of equipment for a monk in my campaign, The AC change works when the item is attuned, but i cannot for the life of me work out how to add the 1d6 fire damage to a monks unarmed strike. Id it even possible?
Bracers of Flame Armor (leather), rare (requires attunement by a only worn by unarmed fighters, or monks, or casters)
These red and orange leather bracers are warm to the touch. upon wearing them, they become part of the wearers armour and have 2 effects: whilst wearing the Bracers of Flame, the wearers AC is increased by 1, and any unarmed melee hit will add 1d6 fire damage to the attack
modifier Subtype you were using can only have a Fixed Value to Unarmed Strike Damage Rules not a diet role. Even when attached to a Weapon the Modifier only displays an XDX next to the original Damage, it does not actually combine them for example look at flame tongue, It only displays the 26 fire damage next to the weapons based damage since armor does no damage if there is no place to display that.
Your player will have to customize their unarmed strike and add a note to remind them of the additional 1d6, and they will have to roll it separately using the dice tray in the lower left corner of their character sheet by clicking the red FAB.

Okay, a couplefew points about that:
