And in the book, there’s a hint the Witch King might not be killed forever. Maybe he comes back, reinstates the kingdom of Angmar, and becomes the new Lord of the Ring? He’s honestly more successful than Sauron; Sauron never managed to actually beat the good guys , while the Witch King destroyed the line of Kings in Arnor, reducing them to wandering rangers, and once he was beaten there, he took one of the main fortresses of Gondor and proceeded to hold the entire kingdom practically always under attack for nearly a thousand years. Meanwhile whenever Sauron returns, he’s just beaten again after a bit. Gondor only managed to defeat the Witch King in the War of the Ring, and if Eowyn hadn’t been there he would have won.

 Yes, but keep in mind that Sauron is more of a corrupter than a straight-up fighter, and he managed to cause the fall of Numenor and killed one of the great elven kings.

I think the witch king is gone, his life force was supported by the one ring, it was the only thing keeping him partially in the mortal world.

Even after Eowyn beat him, he could have come back as long as the ring was existing.

Do you guys think Gandalf or Dumbledore would win in a fight? I think Gandalf, eevn if Dumbledore stood a chance, he would spare Gandalf, but gandalf knows when to go for it. Also, Dumbledore died when he fell out of a tower, it took an ancient fire demon from the depths of the underworld to kill Gandalf, and even then he came back better than ever.

 Good point. You know, I’ve never been able to work out who killed Sauron in the first war of the Ring. Apparently, Gil-Galad and Elendil fought him, and he killed both of them. But Elendil died before Gil-Galad, and since Isildur cut the Ring from Saurons hand when he was dead, so Gil-Galad must have killed him and died doing it. Thoughts, anyone?

 Since Gandalf is actually a divine angel-type thing sent by the Valar, while Dumbledore’s just a human, I’m betting on Gandalf. Immortal, divine messengers of gods are better than talented human wizards, in my opinion.

Also, my thoughts on your other comment: Basically, Gil-Galad and Elendil managed to wound Sauron and then he managed to kill both of them (very disproportionate punishment Sauron) Then, After isildur ran up to try to help his Father, he picked up Narsil and severed Sauron's hand, vanquishing him. It was kind of a team effort.

I'm sort of confused, why did frodo go to the undying lands but nobody else of the fellowship did? I know that he needed to "Heal his wounds" but surely Sam would have gone with him at least. I mean, he sneaked into Elrond's cuncil to go with frodo and he won't go with him on a boat?

 Only elves and VIPs like the ring-bearers could go. Sam went, years later, cause he was also a ring-bearer. I think Legolas also took Gimli with when he went, a hundred years later.

 It says in the book that Isildur cut the Ring from Sauron’s hand AFTER Sauron was dead. He let his dad and Gil-Galad do all the work.

If any could think of good names for titles/ranks within this cult, I’d be really helpful. I’m thinking there should be 4 ranks: 1 top rank, for the leader, 2nd rank, for VIPs (there can only be 3 or 4), 3rd rank, for anyone who wants it, and 4th rank, for people who have posted on here. You must apply for higher ranks. 2nd rankers must put it in their signature, and it’d be appreciated if 3rd tankers do too, but they don’t have to. Now I just need cool LOTR names for each rank.
