*sooooo rules as written right now a greater Will can immediately, instantly kill a nom greater will if they wish. But I will try and design a system for this that is fair and can allow mortals to fight them. It’s just that I don’t really have authority to change the main rules, and also I don’t know what to do yet. My current idea is system to create stats for avatars, and a mortal can’t really kill a greater Will unless they have a true artifact, but they can kill avatars. Not sure about the other way around yet, will try and figure it out. Any help is very welcome!*
*Yea I think standardizing a system for creating god avatars is a good idea. Also capping how many avatars based on your power level. *
*okay alright yes*
*one minor thing is that i again don’t have the authority to change the main rules, so maybe the true forms of gods just stay the same because I can’t do much about that and we add rules for avatars. Alternative is if I can contact Baalz to talk about these changes, wills can only instantly kill creatures or monsters of a certain CR or lower, others they have to fight. But these will be a biiiig change so if you or anyone else could help with either of those things that would be greatly appreciated.*
*I can help if you need, it can be like the cleric Turn Undead feature. As for god avatar statblocks, those shouldn’t be too hard. Just a HP range, number of save profs to have, arrays to choose from, and then kind of whatever other power you want to add. There’s a column in the DMG that outlines vaguely how strong a CR 30 should be.*

*Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I get it. I think because this thread was made with the idea that we would all be roleplaying the Greater Wills, that it makes since that we can do whatever we wanted with the mortals and should only fear other Greater Wills. It gets muddied when you want to play as a mortal instead of a Greater Will.*
*But one of the fun parts of playing a god is the complicated relationship with mortals :3*
*lol*

*I need to think about this a bit, but yeah that would be very good. Another idea was a sort of template you could add on to other statblocks to give them the level of a god avatar, and depending on your rank you could have a higher cr to chose from for the base statblock. Maybe we could do both systems, for people who have more or less time on their hands. And then of course you can have a number of avatars equal to your god level. Maybe we could make a pm for it?*

*Sure. I planned on making avatars/aspects for all my Greater Wills in due time anyways because they are gods in my homebrew world so having stats for them will be useful.*

*That works, thank you for working with me on it :) also important note that it’s not mandatory to make a statblock, it’s just mandatory if you want to fight a non greater will. So people who want to avoid that don’t have to, there’s no obligation for everyone to make one unless they’re fighting adventurers.*

The first sword strike cleaves Tosu’s right ear straight off, and he cries out in pain, wincing as his grip on his weapon tightens. “I may have… taken on more than I can handle.” He stands up straighter and drops his weapon. “I accept my loss. Though I still don’t believe in god..superiority.. I will accept that you are stronger than me.” He half grins, wiping the blood from his face. “And I’ll continue training until I can win.”
