Hmmm, true. I'll add that. If you weren't a player I'd ask if you wanted to be a Gamemaster lol, you've been helping out a lot.

Alright, the other arenas. Will there be more after this? Maybe, maybe not. 12's a decent amount. I'm gonna move onto maps for the currently existing ones unless if I have enough good ideas to increase the table to a d20.
Forest. Unless if the contestants are within 5 feet of each other, they both have advantage on stealth checks as they can easily hide behind trees. (I thought I had posted this before tbh)
Desert- This desert is extremely hot, as it is a desert. At each corner of the map are pools of water that contestants can use a bonus action to drink from. Otherwise, they gain 1 level of exhaustion for every 2 rounds they don't drink, with water removing 1 level each time it's drank.
Additionally, when magic items spawn there will be 2 of them. However, only one of them will be real and the other one is a mirage. A DC 15 Perception or Insight check can be made to determine which one is real.
Pure Darkness. Kinda a more hardcore forest. Contestants can only see within 15 feet of them unless if they have something besides darkvision to light things up, and their movements are posted in spoilers when they aren't able to be seen by their opponent (using the honor system here, if you want to be really secret you can just PM).
Wizard War Aftermath- It is quite literally raining fireballs here. There's cover here and there, but if you can't get to it in time then things will be rough. Any creature that starts its turn without cover automatically is hit by a fireball without a Dex Save that ignores resistance and is only halved by immunity.
The Floor Is Lava. Like Seriously You Don't Want To Fall Because It Is Not Fake Lava It Will Very Much Hurt Because It Is Real Molten Lava- When a tile is stood on, 1 round after it will collapse and fall into the lava. It will not be replaced, so contestants have to maneuver around more and more as the game goes on. For this map in particular, tiles are 10 feet wide and therefore can be shared by two creatures, but obviously you can try to push each other off and it'll collapse after that either way. Falling into the lava deals 10d6 fire damage that ignores resistance and is only halved by immunity.
Don't Look Behind You...- There is a boulder that rolls and chases down the contestants. Being crushed by the boulder is an instant loss, and the only way to not get crushed by it is to run down an infinite hallway until the match is over. The bolder has a speed of 30 feet and starts 60 feet away from the contestants.
This probably needs refining but I'm gonna do that later. I am now going to put this in the OP and go to bed, I need sleep. Goodnight.
I think we should just give AC at the start but not show the sheet because then resistances and immunities are basically useless.
No? They aren’t? Plus it’s equal footing for both people, you know eachother’s sheet. And it helps show that neither person has something to hide. This isn’t a mind game, it’s a character sheet battle, and your resistances will be obvious anyway from whatever race or class you pick. Most classes don’t get either.

I disagree completely. Resistances and immunities are still very useful. Sharing sheets just keeps everyone honest, and means everyone catches any accidental rules violations before the match starts.

Colosseum (Default Arena). Nothing special, the most boring option but it exists. 60 by 60 feet square.
Abandoned Cove. Every 2 rounds, the tide rises or sinks. This doesn't sound that bad at first, until you realize the water is filled with HUNGRY PIRANHAS MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Any player that is in the water takes (some amount) of piercing as the little guys bite at the contestants' ankles. There are bridges above that you can climb up to with a ladder, but each plank has only 15 health before breaking. A more reliable option is small mini-islands that don't get submerged at any time, but they are, as mentioned before, rather small (probably like 15 by 15 feet at most).
Additionally, magic items are stolen by the piranhas when they haven't been taken by contestants yet. (For this purpose, they will always be dropped when the tide sinks.)
I Believe I Can Fly. Makeshift wings are attached to the contestant's backs, giving them a flying speed equal to their walking speed (unless if they already have one). They then are placed in an endless sky with no boundaries or limits.
Tower's Peak. The tower is 100 feet wide/long and very, very high up (200 feet specifically). Whenever you deal damage on an attack or instantaneous spell, you can choose to do so with said knockback being equal to the amount of damage done (knockback meaning away from you, and it can't be into the ground or upward). Any creature that falls off the tower has one turn to make it back up, otherwise instantly taking the 20d6 fall damage and being teleported back up.
Engine Powered Steamboat. There is an engine with 100 hit points keeping the ship afloat. One contestant will be given the goal to destroy it to win, while the other will always respawn 2 rounds after being killed and be given the goal to kill the attacker before they can destroy the engine. (In the event of a tie in ranking, it will be determined randomly.)

Triple purpose boink to say 1. The new arenas have been added to the list in the OP, 2. To say that I've specificied the damage for the piranhas in Abandoned Cove and made some overall specifications, and 3. To overall boink the new arenas and ask for feedback on them.

I would love to participate! This is probably my favorite part of this game. I'm new to using this site so how would I get you character info?
If you need to pay somewhere currently I'm really broke so if its expensive I wont be able to play. Id like to help however as I've hosted a real life tournament of this style before.

DDB has a section where you can make character sheets easily. Just go to the menu, then my characters, then you can create one. It's completely free, although the site does offer a subscription system it's not needed in any way. Although you have to buy books besides the basic rules to use them (even if you own them physically, which sucks but oh well, I'd recommend just joining Goblin's campaign if you want to use something from one of them. There then is an option to get a link to your character, make sure the privacy settings are set so people with the link can see it.

I would love to participate! This is probably my favorite part of this game. I'm new to using this site so how would I get you character info?
If you need to pay somewhere currently I'm really broke so if its expensive I wont be able to play. Id like to help however as I've hosted a real life tournament of this style before.
Thanks!

The content sharing on that one is outdated, I believe.
