SOLUTION! THE BAG OF HOLDING CAN PROVIDE UP TO 10 MINUTES OF AIR! I mean, divided by how many creatures there are, but still, an extra three minutes, EVERYONE PILE IN!
SOLUTION! THE BAG OF HOLDING CAN PROVIDE UP TO 10 MINUTES OF AIR! I mean, divided by how many creatures there are, but still, an extra three minutes, EVERYONE PILE IN!
Unnamed Artificer, you open your bag of holding ready to jump in, only to find that it is still full of oil! As a person of science you know emptying it out would draw in the gas, making it little more than an extremely efficient mass grave. In your frustration, you find yourself compelled to exclaim your own name in such a manner as to prevent the DM from having to refer to you eternally as "Artificer"!
No-one the Aarakora, you open all of the pots at once and with each dustbin-sized lid you remove, you feel the air become briefly fresher around you before becoming foul again.
As the Artificer who I hope will have a name soon makes their initial exclamation about the bag of holding and subsequent string of curses and forenames at the discovery of the oil, you all contemplate what a good idea it was to climb inside something full of fresh air to wait it out.
You all take another load of poison damage, and are feeling on your last legs. The room's becoming a bit spinny, and the door is only halfway unlocked.
"SSSSSTTTTTTTEEEEEEELLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" (I had to) keep opening and closing the pots
You continue to feel little wafts of fresh air each time you remove the dustbin-sized lid from the large pots, but not enough to chase away the noxious gases.
You feel yourself falling towards unconsciousness. The grinding of the doors gears seems amplified and slowed in your ears, as if heard from underwater. In short, you're about one action away from dying - choose wisely!
Jerry consumes his gnome, which tastes of sadness and asbestos.
The artificer seems to be panicking.
The door is still opening much too slowly for everyone's liking.
The smell gets worse, and so does your cough. Another arbitrary amount of hp is lost. None of you are feeling very well now.
What does Tiamat do, having been drawn back?
I'm going to try to shove the door open.
The door doesn't give. The bolts are past halfway now and it's quite clear that the door isn't going to budge until they have withdrawn all the way. It's also clear that the gas will kill you all before that happens.
You have a few more chances to try things, as you've been pretty quiet thus far!
You push hard against the stone bolts which are slowly grinding their way across the door, but no matter how hard you push they don't seem to move any faster.
The noxious smell continues to cause you to hack and cough. You realise that brute force won't get you through this door, the only way through is to wait until it unlocks, and be alive to open it.
It certainly looks like this is the end, so let's move along!
The Noxious gas is causing the room to spin. Everyone loses all sense of direction as their lungs burn. By the time you hit the ground, you are already dead.
And you all jerk awake with a start, as if snapping out of a daze. You are all sitting on a comfortable sofa in the waiting room, with potted plants and a table of assorted magazines. The doors are still in front of you as before, and now the door with a symbol of a Pot is emblazoned with an "X" of red fire above it.
The doors are (annotated with the colour of their flame cross, if applicable):
4 doors, a lion skull, A Snake, Flames, A Pot, A hill torn in half, A Sword, A Chest, Waves, and a Flower.
(note that I've removed one because it wasn't a very good one for this sort of thing!)

Hmmmmm, to bad I ate my newspaper. Jerry will peak into the “a lion skull” door.
You peek in to find a colosseum-style arena with 3 grates on the walls. You hear a growling coming from behind the grates. The torches on the walls burn with a green flame.
You recognise this as the room in which you, Tiamat and Thoruk fought the undead lions.
It is indeed a good game.

Farewell.

I am genius. *cue silly whooping noises and excited screeching*
Farewell.
Soooooo...... when this runs out we die? Are we just doomed? Is this the end of jerry?
Open all the pots at the same time the arakora says, also my name is no-one

In the interests of not dragging this along too much longer, shall I move this along now? Or does anyone have any more actions they want to take?

Here, have a thing I made.
