Welcome to the eastern annex! This part of the dungeon involves more tests of logic than fighting, but can still be quite lethal.
Through the Eastern door is a passage similar to the room you were in, colorful with flagstones dyed in pastel hues and an orange glow from the hanging sconces. The floor quickly becomes submerged in over a foot of clear, potable water in which shimmering fish dart around your ankles. The passage travels northeast for about 50 ft, then turns to the right. Anyone travelling the passage must make a DC:15 Intelligence save.

You move down the hall single file. Only Karnys hangs back. Something is wrong about a section the water... the way it moves, the partially digested fish skeletons suspended in it. By the time the rest of you make the connection, it is too late and the "water" has already began to climb up your ankles. You will need to move fast to escape.

Cleese and Roderick struggle through, but look back to see Wruce being pulled down while the creature rises. You've encountered oozes before, but this one is different. Its parallel sides form equal acute angles opposite to each other, and the upper half of the prism leers towards you while the bottom half slinks away. You see these signs and realize that this is no ordinary gelatinous cube you are dealing with, but a lethal foe.
Gelatinous Rhombus: HP: 93 AC: 6
Dexterity DC to avoid being consumed: 14 Strength DC to break free while consumed: 15
Spell save DC: 19 (It's been experimented on and is a powerful caster now)
Karnys will cast fire bolt at the ooze, and use one of his power surges to deal an extra 3 force damage to the ooze if it hits. He will then command his lizard to help one person attacking the ooze.

Roderick attacks with his rapier and dagger. Attacks 1817 Damages 107 Sneak attack (I have an ally within 5ft) 14 as he finishes the attack Roderick takes a bonus action to try and hide stealth 21-edit-*oops 2 bonus action disregard hide*
Wruce struggles as the Ooze coalesces around him and he tries to break one of hit feet free.

Wruce breaks free and will use his action to Disengage and does a backwards cartwheel, his cape obscuring his acrobatic maneuver. Seeing Karnys' firebolt, Wruce jumps into the air and throws a dart at the Ooze.
(uses one Ki Point on Step of the Wind - You can spend 1 ki point to take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action on your turn, and your jump distance is doubled for the turn.)
Attack: 26 Damage 5.

Wruce watches the Ooze grow and prepares himself for whatever might happen next and gets ready to Dodge
"It doesn't look to friendly. Got any other ideas?" he says calmly to Roderick as he gets into a martial art stance

"A foe that lies hidden in our path/Is sure enough to incur our wrath/But first a thing we need to do/ Is make sure our friend isn't dissolved into goo!"
(Bonus action: Bardic Inspiration die to Wruce: 1d8)
He then focuses on an area of the Gelatinous Rhombus where Wruce isn't (5ft cube) and recites:
"It slices! It dices! It cuts! It cubes! You've never seen anything like it!"

The rhombus takes up the entire passage, floor to ceiling. Wruce struggles to break free, but isn't able to get out on his own. He takes 9 acid damage and is suffocating. The rhombus' surface trembles as it prepares to cast a spell on Roderick...

A burst of magical sparks fly at Roderick, who barely escapes. They strike the wall and pigment it an awful shade of pastel green.

Roderick Dexterity Save: 12
Wruce manages to fight his way out and tumbles onto the watery floor. He avoids the damage from the rhombus. Roderick is not so lucky. The sparks hit him in the face, and a mote of Light bursts into existence on his forehead. It will last for 1 hour.
You pile in on the ooze, blasting it with fire and cutting it into pieces until there is nothing left of it.
