Hail all! I'm making a bug obsessed character (kobold inventor) that collects bugs and weaponizes them. Problem is, I can't find any stats on single bugs that aren't giant other than the monster manual spider and scorpion. Does anyone know of a homebrew or something that has many different creepy crawlies https://9apps.ooo/? Thanks!
Single bugs won’t have any “oomph” to them, take a look at the spider and scorpion for example. Heck, most regular bugs would be easily eaten by a frog, and look at how weak that is.. Have you considered using the insect swarms instead?
strength 1: with auto-failing all strength-based skill checks.
dexterity 20:
constitution 1: with auto-passing any saves related to injesting rotten food, diseased water, or being exposed to foul air.
Intelligence: 1
wisdom: 4 (for perception, because they can't even find an open window to get out of a house)
charisma: 1
1hp
60ft fly speed.
AC: 15, but all attacks against it have Disadvantage, because it Bonus Action Dodges every turn.
Attack: Bite: +5 to hit, deals no damage, but triggers checks for any effect requiring concentration, and gives the next attack made against the creature before the fly's next turn advantage.
Acts as if it is perpetually under the effects of a Confusion spell (because of its extremely low intelligence and wisdom)

Swarmkeeper Rangers are explicitly encouraged to flavor themselves along these lines, and any subclass that fails the Bag of Rats test will, by definition, be able to weaponize bugs; one such example is Phantom Rogues starting at level 9, but any feature that can fuel itself off of murdering bugs will work, such as the ability Fiend Warlocks and Long Death Monks have to generate THP from their deaths or the ability Necromancer Wizards have to heal from them (you'll need to be level 18 or more to be able to do this without losing a spell slot).

One of my players has bedbugs, halp xD
Use the bugs of the kobold inventor, they should not be statted like wolves.
