I suggested this in other threads and comments on YouTube videos that I think all classes should get their subclass at level 3 to reduce multiclass dipping and they are doing it with the Cleric. I expect that to be the case for all classes coming down the line if it sticks.
Bye bye Hexblade dips to get armor and CHA attacking etc.
And Goodbye Superberries. A needed change to the life cleric. Maybe all the haters can get off of Goodberry back now 😂
After just a read through, I like a lot of the content in this UA. I especially like Goliath being able to pick a giant heritage other than Stone Giant. Cleric looks really cool but I will have to do some playtesting to really compare it to what came before. Moving subclass to 3rd level isn't all that surprising to me.
It's like they specifically responded to my feedback on the Ardling where I said animal head plus a spell does not a subrace make. I like how now you actually get abilities that make the ardling subspecies distinct, and you still have access to spells to not lose the upper plane flavor. The new lore is better too, now that they're no longer just aasimar but animal heads.
The biggest kick I got out of the whole document was for the Racer subspecies when the examples it gave were "Deer, Dog, Horse, or Triceratops" and I immediately went "one of these things is NOT like the other"

So now that Spiritual Weapon requires concentration how badly do you think this will effect the results of the survey?
I don’t expect that to survive the UA process.
We will have to see, I don't remember seeing much complaining about clerics and concentration (as compared to say druid or ranger) so it may get through as it remains a "weaponized" bonus action

I'll have to see them in play, they have some solid abilities. Not sure if its too good, not good enough etc.

It makes it fall in line with other spells like it, so now its balanced. Either flaming sphere and other spells like this need concentration dropped or spiritual weapon needs concentration.
A couple other interesting spells in the test. Banishment now gives a save every round. Guidance no longer has a limit on uses per day, resistance is guidance for saves. Makes resistance feel must take imo.

I feel the same.
The one thing that stuck with me that I didn't really like was picking a second Holy Order at level 9. I would much rather see a buff to the Holy Order you choose at 2nd level.
Changing it to temp hit points instead of a max increase, i didn't notice that at first, good catch. Yeah with all the other temp hit point options it wont get used.

The holy order thing feels a little like the second fighting style on Champion Fighter, if they really want to keep it could be interesting for the Scholar option to be taken at each level for a more sage style cleric.
They will really need to address how similar the cleric is to the paladin in their established fantasy as both are potentially heavy armored wielders of Divine magic, the paladin will be more martial that magic, but I wonder if there is really enough differences.

Here it is!
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Right off the bat I find it interesting they used the word "species" now, at least in the title (haven't read through it yet).
Edit: And apparently it's not a one off choice (not that I thought it would be).

Three herbivores and a omnivore.
I don’t expect that to survive the UA process.

I love that sitcom
There was no complaining because they could have both spirit guardians and spiritual weapon going at the same time.
