Bards believe the multiverse was given existence through word and sound, esoteric harmonies that continue to resound through existence: the Song of Creation. The bards of this college draw on this ancient power through performances of dance, music, or song to bring into being what they need most.
The subclass feature, "Animating Performance" temporarily creates a construct.
A sense of oneness shines at the heart of healthy communities, whether bound together by friendship, blood, faith, or some other uniting force. The gods of unity deepen such bonds and delight in their strength. Clerics of these gods preside over marriages and other familial bonding customs, but they also nurture the emotional bonds of friendship and camaraderie. Their divine blessings bolster and protect allies in battle through these deep bonds and turn aside malign influences.
A plane of utmost order, Mechanus is a realm overseen by a godlike entity called Primus, whose actions are inscrutable and calculations, vast. You, or someone from your lineage, might have become entangled in one of the machinations of the leader of the modrons. Perhaps you were exposed to an artifact created by Primus, or your ancestor took part in the Great Modron March in some way.
Using Unearthed Arcana content on D&D Beyond
Please ensure that you enable Playtest Content - this can be accomplished in two places:
1. On the HOME tab of the Character Builder.
2. In the preferences sidebar of the character sheet.
I believe DDB's agreement with WotC only lets them add UA content that was released past a certain date, and it's archived once WotC deems it to be no longer in active playtest.
I began playing a clockwork soul this past week. Unfortunately this month I’m also finally delving into playing via the internet, so most of the issues we tackle have to do with learning the software. Still, I’m excited to getting into the mindset to role-play this clockwork soul. Haven't had a chance to use any of the new features yet, but they seem straightforward enough that I don’t expect problems. Flavor wise I guess it would be neat to gain a tool proficiency, but I wouldn’t necessarily want to get that by sacrificing a magical ability at 1st level.

Any plans to add UA sorcerer Phoenix origin?
Unfortunately not - that is old playtest content that has been declared archived.
We only publish new UA content for playtest by the community.

These 3 subclasses work for me. I particularly like the clockwork as a contrast to wild magic.
