Keen Hearing and Smell. The Zinogre has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Fully Charged. The Zinogre is fully charged with 3 units of charge built up. While in this state its Claw attacks gain 2d6 lightning damage, it can also use claw three times for its multiattack while charged, and it can multiattack its lightning orb attack. This state is removed after three rounds, Zinogre dies, or it uses Lightning Howl.

Actions

Multiattack. The Zinogre makes three attacks with its claws.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Charge Up (3 Actions). The Zinogre charges up lightning into its body via thunderbugs in the area around it, adding 1 unit of charge to it's current amount.

Lightning Orb. Ranged Attack: +8 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d10 + 3) Lightning damage.

Thundering Howl (Full Charge Only). The Zinogre howls, bringing down lightning in a 20 ft radius around it. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, taking 56 (10d10) lightning damage on a failed save and be knocked back 40 feet, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

Lightning courses through the fur and unique plating of this lupine monster. Sharp claws and strong limbs allow them to thrive in mountainous terrain. During hunts, they gather numerous Fulgurbugs to boost their power and enter a supercharged state. It is most deadly in its charged state.
