Shapechanger. The yuan-ti can use its action to polymorph into a Medium snake or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It doesn’t change form if it dies.

Magic Resistance. The yuan-ti has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Spellcasting. The Yuan-ti Tempest Acolyte is a 5-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +4 to hit with spell attacks). The Yuan-ti Tempest Acolyte has following spells prepared:

Description

Yuan-ti Acolytes, appear mostly human, with minor reptilian features, such as slatted eyes, a forked tongue, or patches of crystalline scales on their skin. These former human clergy where captured by the Yuan-ti, Pit Masters. During transformation they have visions of Haietik or lightning serpents. These visions drive them to worship storm creating monsters.
