Special Equipment. Zhane wields the staff of power.
Baron of the Whiteflame. Spells Zhane casts ignore resistance to cold and fire damage, and when he rolls damage for a spell that deals cold or fire damage, he treats any 1 on a damage die as a 2.
Magic Resistance. Zhane has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Spellcasting. Zhane is an 20th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 22, +16 to hit with spell attacks). Zhane has the following sorcerer spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): chill touch, fire bolt, friends, light, ray of frost, shocking grasp
1st level (4 slots): chromatic orb, disguise self, shield
2nd level (3 slots): alter self, hold person, scorching ray
3rd level (3 slots): counterspell, fireball
4th level (3 slots): banishment, confusion
5th level (3 slots): cone of cold, dominate person
6th level (2 slots): disintegrate, mass suggestion
7th level (2 slots): plane shift, prismatic spray
8th level (1 slot): power word stun
9th level (1 slot): blade of disaster
Distant Spell (3/Day). When Zhane casts a spell that has a range of 5 ft. or greater, he can double the range of the spell (or make the range 30 ft. for a spell with a range of touch).
Twinned Spell (3/Day). Zhane can target a second creature in range with the same spell, up to 5th level, as long as the spell at the level it's being cast is incapable of targeting more than one creature.
Quickened Spell (3/Day). When Zhane casts a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, he can change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.
Staff of Power. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Cold Breath (Recharge 5–6). Zhane exhales an icy blast in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of Zhane's choice that is within 120 feet of him and aware of him must succeed on a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to Zhane's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Hellish Rebuke (Recharges after a Long Rest). Zhane casts hellish rebuke at 9th level.
Zhane can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Zhane regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Flight. Zhane flies up to half his flying speed.
Terrifying Leadership (Costs 2 Actions). An allied creature within 60 feet of that can hear Zhane uses its reaction to make an attack with advantage against a target of Zhanes choice that he can see.
Cast a Spell (1-3 Actions). Zhane casts a cantrip, 1st-, 2nd-, or 3rd-level spell, expending a spell slot if necessary. Doing so costs 1 legendary action per level of the spell.
