Posted Jun 8, 2018Agree. And as an owner of three cats, they should get advantage on Perception checks related to hearing, not smell.

Posted Jun 27, 2018Definitely. And they should also get some advantage on falling damage rolls (and maybe not fall prone afterwards).

Posted Jan 8, 2019Cats should technically get lowlight. Very powerful lowlight. Yes they can mostly see at night it's because they are able to see because of the bits of light from the moon and stars...Yes I'm a cat nerd.
GIVE THEM THE RIGHT THINGS YO!!!

Posted Jan 14, 2019There is only darkvision in 5e. Besides, cats can see clearly in what humans would see as darkness, not dim light. Maybe there just needs to be an "absolute darkess" in addition to normal darkness.

Posted Sep 10, 2019Please fix cat WotC! Cat is the very thing people look at to even come up with the term dark-vision.

Posted Dec 18, 2019From the Tabaxi racial traits:
Darkvision
You have a cat’s keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
So... where's the darkvision on cats? Cats in my game definitely get darkvision, it's an easy fix per-game, but this is kind of an absurd omission for the canonical source.
