Description
With dark skin and flaming red hair, fire giants have a fearsome reputation as soldiers and conquerors. They dwell among volcanoes, lava flows, and rocky mountains, and are known for their ability to burn, plunder, and destroy.
This guy looks like Gannondorf from The Legend Of Zelda...hmmm, Hyrule campaign anyone?
Poor Spurt... these are fantastic enemies

DORIYAH!!!
Anyone else notice the audio file attached to this is matthew mercers voice!
Yeah man. They've talked about how both Matt and Marisha spent a day recording names for D&D Beyond. Brian has even commented on it too.
Started a new campaign 2 days ago. One of these guys is the BBEG, but there's also a Big Bad Evil Monster out there to balance out his CR of 9. Not that I can't mess with the stats a bit, but the party can outgrow him pretty quick, so he's also attempting to control a massive fire elemental capable of wiping out armies pretty easily.
I'd play it.
I've actually been making one, it doesn't allow the normal D&D races, it instead allows the players to choose the races, Hylian (literally just human with a different name), Gerudo, Goron, Zora, Sheikah, and Rito. I've also been homebrewing monsters for it. It's hard to position the planes of existence of the setting though (Is the Twilight Realm more like the Fewild or the Shadowfell, where do I put the sacred realm, should I replace the ethereal plane with the silent realm or should the silent realm be the feywild and the twilight realm be the shadowfell, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah).
Will my level 4 party kill a fire giant if they took out a hill giant and three orcs with ease?
Quite possibly, but I might nerf the giant's attacks a little. One greatsword attack has a pretty fair chance of one-shotting a level 4 character, so two of those per round could devastate a party. Also, it depends how big your party is. I'd be careful; one or two nat 20's and you're sailing for a TPK.
I'm literally watching that episode now lol

Bruh...look at the logo of the toy...
Very unlikely. A party especially designed to fight huge monsters might have a chance to look at the CR or the fire giant and the CR of the Hill giant. For a lvl 4 party even hill giant + 3 orcs were a very difficult encounter. A fire giant however has very high AC, lots of health, and better stronger attacks. I'm using a fire giant as a "We need to avoid this fight." boss against a party of lvl 3-4s
