Description
Kobolds are craven reptilian humanoids that commonly infest dungeons. They make up for their physical ineptitude with a cleverness for trap making.
Where do you see they're minus 2 to strength?
They used to be, and you might still find it in physical copies of Volo's, but there was an errata that removed it a while ago.
A little brutal but creative. Though you did just give me a flash of an idea ! Using your above scenario, except instead of blocking the air holes collapsing the entrance thus forcing the party to discover a new way out and in turn exploring an unknown / long forgotten dungeon that even the Kobolds never dared to explore.
It would work well I think for a new starting party of stalwart heroes and possibly up to a low level (2nd to 5th) party of adventurers.
Kobolds are the easiest enemy because MINUSES TO EVERYTHING BUT DEX. sunlight sensitivity, 5 hit points, 1/8 CR, These are like a level ones snack in the afternoon!
XD
I cant believe a guard would die by 1 kobold. SKIIPPP was victorious that day. Imagine a royal guard getting smacked by SKIIPPP. SKIIIPPP is invulnerable to defeat
I did an unarmed strike of 5 damage and a kobold died to it and was knocked over a table. Wow
Can you play these in feywild adventure? if not, which book should we buy for the next campaign? my brother's goal is to play as the shortest character possible
(Yes you can play these)
shame if i was to 510 of these at my level 20 party of 4
I made a kobold
The kobld Very powerful race
Would a group of 4 level 1 adventure party be able to beat a group of 7 kobold?
Wow, so first you want to make peace, then you want to take over the world? #weird
they no longer have the -2 to strength
can i be one
Checking the kobold stat block made laugh so hard realise my DM did rly like my 1st character at all cuz my character entered a fight with 2 Kobolds at lvl 7 (or 6 I don't remember exactly) as Fight (with sub class Samurai) and when I was about to kill the 2nd kobald my DM stopped me and said "before you have the chance to attack the 1st corpse of the Kobald explodes*, *roles few times*, *asks me how much HP I have*, *I tell him I have 41hp left*, and he said the Kobald corpse deals 41 fire dmg (meanwhile I had 2 fire resistances which he allowed to stack, so in total the Kobald would deal 124 fire dmg to a character without any fire resistances) 😁
For DMs Kobolds are efficient and easy to throw at your players.
If decided to play a kobold. Keep on mind they are very cowardly and weak
However this can go for some very fun and great story ark, and roleplay.
(in my opinion) Kobold characters are the best! Something you might have never thought of, if you are a kobold you totally have an excuse for running away in the middle of combat! (I have actually done that)
Is cool
I am just here to check something while i retell a story, of Jim the kobold pirate monk.
he was a small kobold, with a int 2, a ac of 16 and str of 11. the first attack he ever made was a crit almost insta killing something
he had the int of a rat and the strenght of a forklift. shame that campange never happend again
