Posted Jan 5, 2019An escaping target wouldn't be hostile, so I think they don't get the extra action. But yeah, scary, isn't it?

Posted Jan 26, 2019I just houserule that they can't use a dash and aggressive move on the same turn. Or I change it to "can attack as a bonus action after dashing".
It often has the same effect, and it makes trying to keep your distance a little more rewarding. It's when they surround you in numbers that they actually get scary.
Orcs that can outrun a wolf on the charge is a little hard for me to parse.

Posted Sep 16, 2019So I have an orc character I've used in previous games, and am trying to make a character sheet on here, but orcs are only listed as monsters, not a race? Do I need to buy them as a race option, or am I just stupid??

Posted Oct 1, 2019@Veltoo: You need to purchase most races that aren't the "default" ones released with the Player's Handbook. Orcs were released with "Volo's Guide To Monsters." You can either purchase that book to get orcs along with a bunch of other races (and new monsters) or you can buy it standalone if it's only the orc you're interested in. Go here for more info.

Posted Oct 1, 2019@SpecialK_47150: You're wrong. Full-blooded orcs have been playable since Volo's Guide which came out in 2016. As with most other races, archetypes, items, backgrounds and monsters that were released after the core books, you need to pay to see them.

Posted Jan 15, 2020it can move up to 90 ft. a round. That’s cool, reminds me of the speed Tolkien emphasized with his Orcs (although they were really more like Goblinoids than Faerun orcs).
