Arcane Resilience. The Bladeweaver has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Innate Spellcasting. The Bladeweaver's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16). The Bladeweaver can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components.:
1st level (4 slots): Dissonant Pain (Dissonant Whispers), Ensnaring Strike, Searing Smite
2nd level (4 slots): Aganazzar's Scorcher, Scorching Ray, Heat Metal
Multi Attack. The Bladeweaver may make one attack with each blade or two attacks with its Flare Beam.
Sword Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) [slashing] damage.
Flare Beam. RangedWeapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d6) [fire] damage.
Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Bladeweaver exhales fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 40 (8d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Chaos Stasis. When an opponent attempts to leave melee range of the Bladeweaver, the Bladeweaver may force them to make a DC16 Constitution saving throw or they are held in place by crackling chaotic energy.
The Bladeweaver has three legendary actions that recharge at the beginning of each of its turns.
Sword Strike (Costs 1 Action). The Bladeweaver makes one melee attack against a target within range.
Flare Beam (Costs 1 Action). The Bladeweaver makes one ranged attack against a target within range.
Disengage (Costs 2 Actions). The Bladeweaver may move 40 ft. without provoking opportunity attacks.
Description
A massive, metallic, skeletal creature with thick, heavy plate armor covering it. This four armed creature has four massive "shortswords" which are battleloths that have taken their weapon form for its use. Its hollow eyes burn like coals and heat emanates from it and glows orange through the joints in its armor.
