Spirit from the Past (1/Day). Zinnys can spend 1 hour to hold a séance and summon the spirit of Bethamir. The spirit is spectral in appearance, incorporeal and can move through solid objects. It is friendly toward Zinnys and gladly answers any question she has for it to the best of its ability. After 10 minutes or when dispel magic or a similar effect affects Bethamir's spirit, he vanishes.

Paleontologist. If Zynnis can not understand a language she reads, she can spend 1 minute studying it after which she can accurately identify (not understand) the language as well as any languages and cultures it may derive from as long as she knows them.

Historian. Zynnis has advantage on Intelligence (History) checks.

Actions

Multiattack. Zinnys makes two Repelling Burst attacks. She can also use Force Barrier, if available.

Repelling Burst. Melee Spell Attack: +7 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) force damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet directly away from Zinnys and fall prone.

Force Barrier (Recharge 5–6). Zinnys magically creates a barrier of translucent, blue force around herself. The barrier lasts for 1 minute or until Zinnys uses this action again. The barrier is a 10-foot-radius hemispherical dome with a floor centered on Zinnys and provides total cover. It has AC 17, 30 hit points, and immunity to poison and psychic damage.

Spellcasting. Zinnys casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 15):

At will: comprehend languages, guidance, identify, light

2/day each: locate object, mage armor, misty step, stone shapetongues

Reactions

Arcane Stasis (2/Day). When a creature Zinnys can see within 60 feet of her casts a spell, Zinnys can magically lock the casting in the moment before completion. The spellcaster must succeed on a DC 15 saving throw using the spell’s spellcasting ability, or the spell fails and is wasted.
