Magic Resistance. The Yuan Ti Brute has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Regeneration. The Yuan Ti Brute regains 20 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point.

Ritualistic Shapechanger. The Yuan Ti Brute is unable to transform to it's original humanoid form as it lost control over its own body and is living solely to hunt an transform any humanoid to a Yuan-Ti Broodguard servant. The Yuan Ti Brute reverts to its true form if it dies.

Multiattack. The Yuan Ti Brute makes three attacks: one with its bite or claws or one with bite, claws and constrict.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be infected with a disease. While infected, the target can’t regain hit points, and its hit point maximum is reduced by 10 (3d6) every 24 hours. after 1d4 +4 days, the target instantly transforms into a Yuan-Ti Broodguard over the next 1d4 + 4 days.

A spell such as lesser restoration or remove curse can end the transformation process at any time before it runs its course. After the process is complete, only a wish spell can reverse the effect.

Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the yuan-ti can’t constrict another target.
