Traits

Warforged Resilience. Zenith has advantage on saving throws against being poisoned and is immune to disease. Magic can’t put it to sleep.

Unarmored Defense. While Zenith is wearing no armor and wielding no shield, its AC includes its Wisdom modifier.

Actions

Multiattack. Zenith makes three Unarmed Strike attacks, three Cobalt Dart attacks, or a combination thereof.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage and Zenith chooses one of the following effects (DC 14):

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, Zenith can push it up to 15 feet away from it.
  • It must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of Zenith’s next turn.

Cobalt Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 40/100 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) force damage.

Stillness of Mind. Zenith can end one effect on itself that is causing it to be charmed or frightened.

Wholeness of Body (1/Day). Zenith can regain 24 hit points.

Bonus Actions

Watchful and Waiting (Recharge 4-6). Zenith can take the Dash, Dodge, or Disengage action.

Reactions

Deflect Missile. In response to being hit by a ranged weapon attack, Zenith deflects the missile. The damage it takes from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + 13. If the damage is reduced to 0, Zenith catches the missile if it’s small enough to hold in one hand and the adept has a hand free and can make a ranged attack with the missile in the same action.

Description

Operatives are agents of organizations that engage in espionage. The best among them are often considered for filling vacancies in higher positions.

Monastics of the Cobalt Soul

Scholars, priests, and ascetics who have been drawn to the cause of truth and knowledge spend their lives in support of the Library of the Cobalt Soul, united by the teachings of Ioun the Knowing Mentor. The Cobalt Soul is guided by a central belief that true strength comes from understanding the world around you. Beyond its efforts in knowledge-seeking, each branch of the Cobalt Soul strives to expose lies, unveil propaganda, and fight corruption in whatever society their chapter, referred to as an archive, calls home.

The Library of the Cobalt Soul is headquartered in Rexxentrum, the capital of the Dwendalian Empire on the continent of Wildemount. The organization has archives across Exandria. The Ank’Hareli branch of the Cobalt Soul is based in the Temple of the Mentor. Like many of the archives, the Temple of the Mentor is both a vast library and a shrine to Ioun. This Marquesian archive is led by High Curator Jamil A’alithiya.
