Traits

Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the bugbear hits with it (included in the attack).

Long Limbed. All melee weapons wielded by this creature have their reach increased by 5ft (included in the attack).

Circulating Acid. The Ytepka Harvester's blood consists of highly flammable acids. Consequently, it is immune to acid damage, but vulnerable to fire damage. If the harvester falls to/below 0 hit points because of fire damage, it explodes in a 20ft sphere radius and deals 8d6 fire damage to everyone who fails a DC 16 DEX saving throw.

Acid Reflux. If the Ytepka Harvester is hit by a poison or acid attack, its skin absorbs the poison/acid and automatically applies it as a healing salve, restoring an amount of hit points equal to the poison/acid damage it would normally take.

Heavyweight Grappler. This creature can succesfully grapple Huge creatures. Furthermore, it has advantage on attacks made against grappled creatures.

Actions

Multiattack. The Ytepka Harvester makes two greataxe attacks or one AOE acid belch.

Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d12 + 5) slashing damage.

Acid Belch. Ranged Weapon Attack: DC 16 (8+3+5) CON saving throw.

  • On failure: 5d6 acid damage, target is blinded by the acid until the CON save is passed on one of its subsequent turns.
  • On success: Half damage taken, target is unaffected by blindness

Mutant Grab. Special Attack: Must use the Run and Grab bonus action, Hit: 20 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. Target must succeed on a DC 18 STR saving throw or become bone-crushingly grappled. If said target is grappled, attack rolls made against it have advantage, and the Ytepka Harvester can use its Bone Crusher action.

Bone Crusher. Special Attack: +8 to hit, one grappled target, Hit: 22 (2d20+5) bludgeoning damage, target must succeed on a DC 10 CON saving throw or have most of their bones broken -- dying immediately. If a target is downed by this attack, their bones are broken regardless of the saving throw.

Bonus Actions

Run and Grab. If there is an enemy within walk speed of the Ytepka Harvester, it can use its bonus action to run up and make a special Mutant Grab attack with advantage. If said creature is hit and fails its saving throw against being grappled, the harvester can also use its special Bone Crusher attack on subsequent turns.

Description

Ytepka Society's "Harvesters" are mutated cultists whose sole purpose is to be the muscle of the organization. Their freakish limbs and brutish strength allows them to carry heavy objects and grapple huge creatures. In large numbers, they can even hold down gargantuan entities. They're referred to as "harvesters", because they are frequently sent to collect creature remains used in alchemy or for magical purposes. A march of these brutes on their way to slay some poor thing for its scale or hide has been dubbed "The Harvest" by Port Nyanzaru's citizens, even if they don't know who the brutes are really serving.
