- Warrior’s Resilience: When the shogun is reduced to 0 hit points, they can choose to remain conscious and instead drop to 1 hit point. This can be used once per long rest.
- Tactical Mastery: The shogun gains proficiency in two additional skills of their choice from the following: History, Insight, or Persuasion. They can add their proficiency bonus to initiative rolls
-
Extra Attack: Yuka can attack three times whenever she take the Attack action on her turn.
-
Divine Blade Mastery: The Godly Shogun wields a legendary katana that deals 3d10 sap damage +10. On a critical hit, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 round
-
Thousand Samurai Spirit: Once per long rest, the Shogun can summon the spirits of a thousand samurai, granting advantage on one of the following: attack rolls, saving throws, or skill checks for 3 rounds.
-
A Flash Of Steel: The shogun teleports up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space they can see and makes one melee weapon attack against a target within reach, rolling with advantage. If the attack hits, it deals an extra 2d6 damage due to the element of surprise. This ability can be used once per short rest.
- Blinding Speed: The Shogun can take a bonus action on their turn, which can only be used warp 15 feet.
Deflecting Blade
When the shogun is hit by a non-magic melee attack, they can use their reaction to reduce the damage taken by an amount equal to their proficiency bonus + their Strength modifier and their Wisdom. If the damage is reduced to 0, the shogun can immediately make one melee weapon attack against the attacker as a swift counterstrike. This showcases their mastery of defense and counterattacks on the battlefield.
Final Flash
When the shogun's health drops to 25 HP or less, they can activate Final Flash, creating four afterimages that mimic their movements. All five (the shogun and the afterimages) then make simultaneous melee attacks against a single target, dealing 3d10 + 10 damage each on a hit
Description
Yuka is a stoic figure who navigates life with a calm demeanor and an air of mystery, often seen chewing bubble gum as she surveys her surroundings. Living comfortably in the present, she prefers solitude, finding solace in her own thoughts rather than the company of others. While many regard her as a scary, enigmatic presence—a one-woman army capable of overwhelming any foe—those few who glimpse beyond her exterior realize there’s a complexity to her character, shaped by a lifetime of experience and introspection.
I'm aware that she's broken. I made her for a homebrew heavy campaign as a boss.
