Description
The Archmage Zealot: Zaresith the Pyre-Touched
- Background: Zaresith was once a prominent scholar in a great magical academy but was exiled after uncovering forbidden texts that spoke of Apep, the Eternal Flame and the Serpent of Cataclysm. He believes the natural order is stagnating and must be cleansed in fire, allowing Apep to remake the world.
- Motivations: Zaresith sees himself as Apep’s chosen prophet. His ultimate goal is not only to summon Apep’s avatar but also to be transformed into a divine herald of the god himself.
- Appearance: Wreathed in flames that don’t consume him, Zaresith’s robes are charred, and his eyes glow with molten light. A scarification ritual in the form of a coiled serpent adorns his arms and chest.
