Ripping Roots. Each time a creature enters or ends its turn within 10 ft of the Slitherwilt they must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 necrotic damage. The Slitherwilt heals for half the damage dealt this way.

Grasping Vines. The vines of the Slitherwilt cast a net on the ground around it, keeping its prey constantly in range. All terrain in a 10ft radius centered on the Slitherwilt is considered deafult terrain, unless it's ablaze.

Description

The Yuan-Ti Slitherwilt is creature created through a ritual of large amounts of organic material; overseen by a shaman that suppresses the components connection to the earth. Who finally adds large amounts of blood from sacrifices, until it festers and turns into something they deem acceptable. Each Slitherwilt is entirely different from one another. Whether it be the organic material used, the quality of the sacrifices, or even something as simple as what the Shaman envisioned.

Slitherwilts have no connection to the shaman that created them, instead choosing to obey creatures they deem extraordinary. Which more than not ended up being a stronger Yuan-Ti, such as a Yuan-Ti Anathema. Although in rare cases some Slitherwilts rivaled the power of Anathemas and became leaders themselves; choosing to worship gods instead, under the guise that no mortal creature could challenge it.
