Description
Lore (Young Stone Dragon)
By the time it reaches young adulthood, the Stone Dragon is nearly unstoppable in close combat. Its horn is long and jagged, used to gore prey or collapse tunnels onto its enemies. Its wings are heavy and stone-ridged, carrying it between mountaintops or across vast caverns of the Underdark.
Its acidic mud breath is feared even among dwarves and drow — capable of dissolving metal, stone, and flesh alike, while entombing victims in a cement-like sludge. Unlike most dragons, the Stone Dragon does not hoard gold, but veins of ore and precious gemstones, decorating its lair with walls of gleaming rock and acid-hardened mud.
Where it lairs, the mountains seem to shift and rumble as though the stone itself were alive.
