Creep Nourishment. The Queen regains 7 (1d10 + 2) hit points every 1 minute if it is standing on creep and has at least 1 hit point.
Responsive Creep. The queen gains 25 to its speed while on creep.
Spawn Larva. Any Hatchery/Lair/Hive attended by a queen produces larvae twice as fast.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) piercing damage.
Acid Spines. RangedWeapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 50/200 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) acid damage.
Infuse (Recharge 5-6). The Queen spews a liquid secretion at a creature it can see within 30 feet of it. If the target is zerg, the secretion restores 22 (3d10 + 6) hit points to the target. Otherwise, the target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. Taking 15 (2d10 + 4) acid damage on a failed save.
Spawn Creep Tumor (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). The Queen expels a creep tumor onto an unoccupied space within 5 feet of it. The creep tumor is burrowed and requires a DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check to be discovered. It has an AC of 10 and 5 hit points and will produce creep continuously up to a maximum range of 300 feet in a circle around itself. The creep tumor may create a copy of itself, on creep within it's range, once. Afterwards, it requires a DC 16 Intelligence (Investigation) check to be discovered.
Description
Queens are the brood mothers and tenders of the Swarm. They facilitated growth, and faster larvae production.
These creatures are not born from larvae like the others. They are gestated within a hatchery/lair/hive, and walk out once born.
Queens are the thinking, cunning lieutenants of the Swarm. They are designed with enough mental capabilities to manage the local Swarm themselves, when absent from commands of the controller.
Also of note, they are able to spread creep further through an organ called creep tumors. They create these organs intermittenly, then are able to implabt them on the edge of creep. These organs create more creep.
Creep is seen as the lifeblood of the Zerg. It is their home field. It feeds them, heals them, and helps them move. All scholars best guesses have creep being created by the main hatchery/lair/hive from ambient mana. Creep tumors function the same.
