i have tried to create a monster. but i dont get beyond the basic info page. language,scill,movement etc. I try to open my monster from my content, i get a message that changes are needed. i press edit. and i get sendt to the same basic information page where i have entered all the values and there is no way of going to a next page! what am i doing wrong?!
There is no "next page" in the editor. From My Content, click on EDIT, then, on the editor page, click on Basic Information to edit the traits and actions of the monster.
When you say, "i get a message that changes are needed" - what message are you referring to? What does it say?
Looking at the monster currently, I can see that you haven't filled in the text areas under basic information for: Special traits, actions, reactions, characteristics, lairs etc.
Also, importantly, please note that red text at the top of your monster page just means that there is a reason the monster cannot be published (shared with the community). You do not need to publish your homebrew to use it yourself or allow others in your campaign to use it.
Thanks. I feel abit stupid now but maybe the text "basic information" should be highligted as a hyperlink, i saw it only as a nonclickable title referring to the entries below. but now im good. again thanks!
Im having a similar problem. Creating a monster variant from a werewolf. When I click "save changes", it just refreshes the page and puts a red star next to the required text boxes on basic information, but everything is filled in and I am happy with what I have written. Why can't I save my Werewolf monster??!!

the only things i am aloved to edit is: laguage, senses, skills, and movement. and then there is a save button. and thats it.
do i only have one shot at editing special traits actions etc? I cant go back to those editable textboxes, or at least i cant find the way there.
Can you click on Basic Information?
that functions as a drop-menu. When you click on BASIC INFORMATION the textboxes for actions and traits will appear.
