So if you can only have 2 does that effect things like bag of holding or goggles of night if there already made couldn't you also have defences and repeating shot or would you have to give something up
If you can only have 2 you can only have 2.
If start your infusions with Goggles of Night first and then Bag of Holding and then try to infuse a Repeating Shot - the Goggles of Night will become basic non-magical goggles. If you then try to infuse something else - your Bag of Holding will become a non-magical bag.
I know I'm late to the party on this, but are there plans to add an "Infusion" tag to relevant magic items on the Magic Items search page?
In short - no, we don't have any plans for something like that.
That doesn't mean that it's not something we could do.
Can you explain how/why it would be useful please?
To more easily find magic items that could also be infusions, or homebrewed versions of infusions that do not replicate existing magic items. That way we could more easily find and add those items for character sheets of PCs that are not Artificers, but are in parties with Artificers. Since we cannot transfer Actual infused Items from the Artificer’s sheet to their party members’.
In essence, it just gives you a shortcut to finding what could be an infusion to an artificer without having to roll one up. But in the same way, the tags tell you that a spell is only usable by a caster of a certain class/subclass, as a way to see, within the magic items list, what you can infuse beforehand has value to any potential artificer, especially once you add in the Xanathar items which expand the list. They may not even have to be levelled, but the tag would help.
My artificer uses their infusions to support the fighter in the party. Initially, this was just the Enhanced Defense infusion for the +1 boost to the fighter's armor class, which I tracked on my DnD beyond digital character sheet by adding chainmail to my inventory, then infusing it. For the fighter's character sheet, we simply customized her chain mail to give an additional +1 bonus to her AC.
Now that I've hit 6th level with my artificer, I was excited to apply the Radiant Weapon infusion to our fighter's Maul. Again, I can easily track that infusion on my character sheet by adding a normal Maul to my inventory, then applying the Radiant Weapon infusion to it. But for the fighter's character sheet, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get all the details of a radiant weapon (light on/off as a bonus action, attempt to blind an attacker as a reaction). Ideally the light on/off bonus action, the blindness reaction, and the number of charges would be tracked automatically on the fighter's character sheet. For now we've just slapped all the description text for Radiant Weapon as a custom note on the Maul in the fighter's character sheet.
My current plan is to make a custom magic item that contains all the details of the Radiant Weapon, then my fighter can just add it to their inventory.
So I've followed the instructions to infuse the items and it shows in the weapon details but it doesn't seem to be applying the +1 to my damage and attack? Is this bug or is there a step I missed? I know I could customise manually but wondered if this should be happening automatically in my character sheet on Beyond

Does the infused item require attunement? If so it won't apply the benefit until you've attuned.
I just bought the artificer, from Tasha's and created my level 4 however, the Infusion menu does not load. It just shows "choose a level 2 option" Please advise
The artificer description says that you can incorporate common magic items. Can we get thermal cube added to the selection list? I know it is not in XGTE. Still, I’m hoping I understand the infuse intent correctly and all common items are intended to be available.

Anyone have a clue if the Armorer will have Thunder Gauntlets as a item for the sake of slapping on a infusion?

Thank you, that was the bit I missed, didn’t see it flagged and the other weapon I’d infused didn’t require attunement so wasn’t expecting it!
Is it just me (I might need to do a cache clear) or are the infusions only showing the ones from Eberon?
Yeah I don't see Tasha's or all common magic items either.

Where am I going and why am I in a handbasket?
You need to turn on eberron content for infusions for now
Nah....none of the new infusions from Tasha's are in the game yet.
The base ones can be accessed you just need to turn on Eberron. The NEW ones are not.

Can we get some sort of ETA when Tasha's common items will be added as infusions?
Hence the reason I wrote, "new infusions"
I've been asking for an ETA on a couple different post. Seems like they cast Silence and the moderators can't speak...
