I am a level 1 fighter, but i want to multiclass, only for a 1 or 2 level dip. I am a Vhuman ranged crossbow expert build. I can multiclass into everything exept strengt based classes. I am thinking about clerics, but i want it to be really strong. Please don't use hard dnd language, because i'm a new player.
It’s actually, usually a bad choice to multiclass as you end up trading the high-level abilities in your first class for low-level abilities in your second class. And unless you plan it from the start in where you put your scores, and have a specific thing you are trying to do, you can end up with a pretty weak character. Also, if you’re a new player, you probably just shouldn’t. All that said.
I would follow Xalthu‘s advice, they really know their stuff. I will disagree with them about one thing, I don’t think it’s a “bad” choice as long as it’s fun for you. However, it can be tricky and it’s easy to fall into a trap of an unfun multiclass if you don’t know what you’re doing, especially for new players. I will also add one additional useful question to theirs:
If your DM will let you change your stat distribution, one of my fantasy classes is an Eldritch Knight 17/Battle Smith 3. It starts as a fighter like you did for the heavy armor, but then goes into Artificer for 3 levels to get the Battle Smith ability to attack with Intelligence. Until then, it relies on a 14 dexterity and a crossbow, but could still use the crossbow with intellect later if you want to keep that style of play. I’d obviously pick up things like Sharpshooter and Crossbow Master for yours instead of mine. I honestly had trouble picking all the ASI/Feats for mine, but for you the two I mentioned combined with Fey Touched (Intellect) and +2 Int would take care of most.
Please keep in mind I’ve never gotten to play through this character, and even so I still realize it takes a while to come online fully. Besides this, something like Rogue or Ranger could be good, but so can sticking with just a Fighter.

What fighter subclass do you plan on taking?
That’s a good and important point. If it’s what will be fun for you (and doesn’t actively make someone else at the table miserable) then by all means, do it.
I'm a big fan of adding 3 to 4 levels or Ranger, gloom stalker with Fighter archers. Blind fighting as the fighting style assuming you took archery with the fighter style. You could also go hunger instead of Gloom stalker.

Frankly, I’m generally of the opinion that if Player A’s multiclass is impacting Player B’s ability to have fun that much, then Player B should probably spend a li’l more time focusing on their own damned character and keep their nose out of Player A’s character sheet. As long as Player A isn’t actively being a wangrod, and they also aren’t inadvertently doing anything that would actively disrupt anything anyone else is doing, then they should be fine and everyone else at the table should accept their character, warts and all.
You might want to triple check with everyone before you use that background. A lot of players I’ve read view it as a form of “cheating” to get an extra feat. Obviously it’s not or it wouldn’t be an option, but still…
If you’re going not going to level 5 or 6, definitely don’t multiclass. All classes get a big power boost at level 5. In the case of fighters, it takes the form of getting 2 attacks with your attack action instead of 1. If you multiclass, you’ll never get it. Then there’s the feat at level 6, which will probably be worth more than, or at least the same as, the 1st-level power you’d pick up from a multiclass. That’s the thing with most multiclass builds, they don’t really fully come together until somewhere around level 10ish, because that’s when you’ve hit enough different powers that they can start to interact with each other. Also, in your first post, you mentioned clerics, that’s not an option, as you need at 13 wis to do that.
Fighter is one of those classes that you don’t want to multi, especially early on. You really want to wait until you’re at least level 5, because you need extra attack if you want to do your job as a martial.
make sure you take sharp shooter btw

What are your stats?
What do you want to get out of the multiclass?

Probably don’t multiclass because you’re new. But if you have to, the best classes would be ranger (hunter), warlock (hexblade) and rogue (Assasin).
DM: “Who’s your patron?”
Warlock: “Ummm”
DM: “Hurry Up”
Warlock: “yOu”

Check out my homebrew: My Homebrew
I am able to distribute my stats and were only going to max level 7, probably only level 6-5, therfore probably only 1 or 2 levels in a multiclass.
My background is wildspacer, and i have 8 strength, 16 dex, 14 con, 10 int, 12 wisdom, 14 cha.
I am planning on taking battle master, but if something works great with my multiclass, i can change that.
