It would be great to have their name and portraits, then their HP/XP/spell slots/AC/Condition (stunned, prone) at a glance so as they move forward in a session you can make sure you're not throwing too much at them.
Could also be good to allow quick party level actions as well such as short rest or the ability to send messages directly to players when their character would know something that others do not
I own the Legendary Bundle here on dndbeyond, but I don't own physical copies of most books, so I end up using a laptop with dndbeyond as by DM Screen most of the time. I've got tabs pulled up with my player's character sheets and tabs with monsters I expect them to encounter at the very least, and often I'll end up with tabs for a few spells or conditions too, as they come up during a session.
But frankly, navigating dndbeyond isn't a great experience. Search doesn't work at all if you typo the name of a spell (even something like searching for "firebolt" instead of "fire bolt") and some things (like common/uncommon/rare magic item prices) are barely searchable at all. So I end up keeping a tab open to the DMG table of contents, and jumping around that way. It's... okay.
What I'd prefer is a DM Screen page. A single page with quick summaries of normal save and trap DCs, conditions, basic combat actions, etc. Maybe even customizable with "I'd like to have a panel with common item costs" or "nah, I'd like to have a panel reminding me which skills are associated with which ability scores".
Eventually, of course, this could be tied in to the Campaign management system and also have panels for your campaign's characters, enemies, etc, but that's not what I'm asking for right now. Just a really good quick-reference that a DM can keep open at all times instead of having to switch between a dozen different tabs.

A DM Screen would be incredibly useful. Particularly if it was as thoroughly linked as the other material you can purchase here. If I could give but one request to improve upon the base, physical form, it'd be that the DM Screen could be customizable in a modular fashion.
Options could include information specific to the campaigns, such as player character sheets, monster lists, as well as the typical basic rules look-up tools. Not necessarily crammed onto it in full, but at least more easily navigable and linked. It'd still require tabs, such as clicking a monster's name to see their full stats, but having a "master tab" would greatly cut down on tab-clutter and greatly improve ease of navigation.
Any chance of just releasing basically the functionality of the twitch overlay without running twitch?
If I could just have a sidebar of my players, that would be amazingly helpful. Happy if it was a standalone page, but even better if it would stay on the side while navigating.
I agree, I love the idea and what's been talked about with the DM Screen but even if the cards on the My Campaign updated and the few key stats would work. Would be a great small start. Since all of the characters can be seen via JSON I've been starting a dashboard that I can refresh; I'm just starting it but I would think you could write your own with a JSON parser. I'm not a great coder but if I get anything worth looking at I'll share it.
I love this idea and it is one of the pieces I am looking most forward too. I would also love to have a party version of this as well, that is customizable so that your players can see some basic information about other players. The customizable portion would allow you to choose whether on not the players see numeric values or bars, they could individually see this, or if you could share it with a smart device such as a Television that would be amazing as well.
Speaking of a DM screen, One of the things I think would be super useful would be the ability to have some kind of story board for adventure planning. Each panel would need to be able to contain the relevant adventure text and any notes the DM might want to include to make social encounters better (NPC personality, voice ideas, known gossip, etc). Then having the ability to rearrange the encounters, both social and combat, to allow for the party who chooses the left door when all the signs point right, would make it easier to adjust. I can't tell you how much time I've spent searching for the next right section of text (both physical and digital) when the party headed off in a direction I hadn't foreseen.
It's great that a 3rd party plugin has gotten this feature taken care of.
However, this is just one of many examples of why I completely ignore these folks when they tell me something is "on the roadmap." That was two years ago. It may as well not be on the roadmap at this point.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
You can now access it through our mobile app. It now contains the campaign view where you can track basic stats (HP, AC, passive senses, conditions) of all the characters in the campaign and DMs can quickly preview the sheet of the characters in the campaign.
Can we get a summary screen of our players?

It's on the roadmap!
As always, I don't have a date for you though.

Thanks for replying so fast -- also, that's awesome!!
The team have some really cool ideas on how it could work and all the possible options. I'm really looking forward to it myself. :)

is there a list of roadmap items to reduce duplicating suggestions, and is there a survey to vote on future items?
