I've created a wizard and I've noticed that the spell management is quite nice, but there's one thing regardless of class that I think could be useful: Some sort of "Combat" sheet. Available combat options are scattered throughout the screen in various places, and it'd be great if we could just see all of our options for combat in one place.
For instance, under the Attack section, only true Spell Attacks are there. There are no cantrips that are. for all intents and purposes, spell attacks. Nor are there spells that deal damage but aren't officially "Spell Attacks." For instance, Ice Knife populates under "attacks," but Magic Missile and Poison Spray don't. The Wand of Lightning Bolt in my possession doesn't populate either. To see what I can do to deal damage during combat without having memorized the spells, I have to go to a few different places.
I am a big fan of not putting people in a box and allowing people to use non-combat-oriented spells during combat. But...wouldn't it be easier and more straightforward if every "prepared spell and cantrip that deals damage to a target" populated somewhere so I can see everything on my turn during a combat round? I can filter my spellbook by spell level. Why can't I also filter the spellbook by "deals damage?" And all you'd have to do is put that filter bar in the "prepared spells" section.
I also noticed that information can be scattered for other classes, too. Maybe there should be a "Combat" sheet that just consolidates all of the info? For instance, a Rogue in my party has to go to a few different places to gather all that they can do on a combat turn, putting together racial abilities, class features, attacks, feats, and other things.
Maybe I can have the option to have a "bookmarking" section of the sheet, where I can manually tag things around the screen that I'd want on a list?
I agree it could be better laid out. Badeye, the project lead, has said that the character sheet revamp will include an "actions" section that will consolidate all these things in one place. In the meantime, in the spells section, you can select a spell, slick on Customize, and check a box that will show it as an attack.
Thanks for the tip! I did not know about the "customize>display as attack" function. I'll be doing this! But the point still stands; it'd be cool to have a more consolidated view. I'm glad they're working on a revamp
Just to maybe clarify the current setup, "Attacks" are only things that have you roll an attack roll (weapon or spell). Magic Missile has no attack roll, and the other spells you listed have saving throws. But I agree it's not the most useful character sheet separation.
I would love to be able to move the blocks of data (description, limited use...) around the screen. Also things like special arcane shots are not listed in the limited use tab. A pain to have to track it down.

Being able to move things around would be great.
I'm hoping arcane shots will be part of the new "actions" section BadEye mentioned in the last developer preview.
I've found that on my older iphone, scrolling left and right through the sections of a character sheet to be very janky. The sideways scrolling from "Abilities" to "Spells" doesn't scroll smoothly, and I can't jump to sections directly because the screen is so narrow, only adjacent sections are visible.
As much as it would be nice to have all the "combat" abilities automatically located in one place automatically, I don't expect the DnD Beyond folks to consider every possible ability that would be included there. Benign Transposition, for instance, is just a short-ranged teleport that I might want to use in combat; it does no damage, but it does let me swap places with my Paladin friend when a raging barbarian corners me. If they could allow for a customization of a "combat" section, then I'd be all for it, so long as I can get to it quickly and easily.

I'm not sure if you've already tried this, but you can pretty much add any spell to your attacks list.
First, expand the spell in the spell list.
Then, right below the name, click the + next to Customize.
Then check the Display as Attack box.
I know this isn't exactly what you were talking about, but I thought it might help in the meantime.
