As a DM i often create the character for the PCs. So i did it when i started to use the program. I understand now that the characters i created are associated to my user name and i can't transfer them to my players, now that they are all made. I could use a functionality that would permit to do that. AS a DM, i would like to be able to interact with a player character via Beyond. To add notes to them or add items and such things.
I guess that my players will have to create their characters, even though a put all that work into creating them.
Could we have a way to make copies of a character we have created?
Definitely a planned feature. I hope we can get to sharing, copying, and transferring ownership of characters after the Backgrounds revamp and Equipment updates (starting equipment choices, equipment packs, containers).
Updates when I can share them...

Now I'm remembering a British Christmas carol. Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat Please put a penny in the old man's hat If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you!

Once characters have been added to the campaign by your players, you can add things/modify them as needed, whether that be adding xp/loot or adding notes.
I noticed that last night while i continued to explore the application. The more i use it, the more i discover new things. I think i will stop posting questions here for a while cause all i do is waste peoples time.
It's not wasting time (unless the question has been asked 40,000 times already) - if no-one asks about a certain feature, those who haven't had the time/patience to fiddle with the tool yet will not be aware of the features.

It's already been suggested multiple times and I'm pretty sure it's officially on the to-do list.

Hi,
Great. It's always nice to know that an idea has been shared by many. Let's hope we see it at some point.
Thanks again for the reply.

Any progress on this?
I was hoping with the new character sheet deployment that this feature would be included. Does anyone have an idea if this is still in the works?
Yes, you can effectively transfer a character to another user as follows:
