If runeterra and the unofficial content can have toggles to enable and disable content added on the character sheet can we get the same for acquisitions inc so my players stop accidentally grabbing spells from there.
It isn't at all obvious that some of this content isn't from the core ruleset.

The ability to disable content sharing for specific sources is currently on the roadmap of features to come - though there's no ETA as to when it will be added.
Now I’ have to admit to being super confused. What exactly constitutes non-core d&d?
So the following is what would be considered noncore content:
Mordenkainen's Fiendish Folio Volume 1
Infernal Machine Rebuild
Lost Laboratory of Kwalish
Rrakkma
One Grung Above
Locathah Rising
In essence, it's content that's designed purely for fun and to be used at the DM's discretion. You can expect to see similar content (such as Extra Life) behind this toggle in the future (though this in no way impedes accessing the content through listings, compendium, etc.).

The toggle you want is the “Noncore D&D Content” toggle directly at the bottom of the list, directly below “Rick and Morty Content.”
Just to clarify - this does not prevent Acq. Inc. content from appearing.
Thanks, I know it is on the roadmap, it is just the only thing which cant currently be toggled on character sheets which feels like it should be in the same category as rick and morty content
Is there (or planned to be) an permanent listing of what is non-core? For example, if you went to the sources page, it would go 'Sourcebooks - Core, Sourcebooks - Non-core, Adventures - Core,' etc. So DMs have a listing to point to, or for people to answer questions in the forums without having to dig up this thread every time.

This is really solid feedback that I'll pass along to the team - thanks!
I understand toggling sources for content sharing is on the road map as mentioned above - will this include being able to toggle your own sourcebooks when creating a character? If a DM doesn't want me to use a certain book it would be really useful to either not have those options visible, or to see at a glance what book they're from on drop-downs during creation (maybe put the source in parentheses after each feature/skill/subclass/feat, etc).
Apologies for the necro but this was the main google result - if I have looked correctly, the Acquisitions Inc content is still showing for 'core-only' characters? Is this still in the works? It's quite jarring to reach such dramatically corporate spells when looking down my medieval fantasy characters!

yuuup. A lot of folks have the same complaint. But I'm not aware they've changed their minds on giving us the option to disable or hide that content. Maybe we'll get that option with OneDnD. For now, you get to just roll your eyes every time you spot "Jim's Magic Missile" or those dumb backgrounds.
Any news about this ability? Is it still on the roadmap? :)
It would be nice, right? Still holding my breath, hoping at the very least that Acquisitions Inc. stuff does not make it into OneDnd Player's book.
As nice as DnD Beyond is, the fact that Acquisitions Inc. is _not_ one of the sources we can toggle on and off in the character creator is... dumbfounding. I can turn on/off homebrew, eberron, MtG, dragonlance, planescape, and whatever non-core is. But I can't fence off bs like spells with names like "Motivational Speech." Sigh.

“Non-core” simply means the stuff that was published to support he Extra Life organization.

It baffles me this is still top google result and no change.

Ahah. Thank you. I must have gotten the Lost Lab and Acquisitions Inc. mixed up in my head. Thanks again for clearing that up for me!

throwing another log on the fire to be able to toggle off Acquisitions Inc. content during character creation. Pretty please.
