I've read in older threads (from 2017 or so) that there were plans to work on a feature that would allow customized content sharing in campaigns. Is there any news about whether this is still being developed or not? I'm developing a homebrew setting where certain races and such don't exist, and would really love to be able to control the character creation options that my players see!
Right now you can turn things off at a book level. So you could exclude all of Volo's for example, but not just Tabaxi. And that doesn't stop a player from picking it if they already own Volo's / Tabaxi.
Your best bet is to just put in the description or player notes what is and isn't usable for creation.
