So I'm trying to make a Light Domain cleric, which as I understand is in the base players handbook so I shouldn't have to have any other books to do so. Though as far as I'm aware after buying 2 books (Tasha's and Xanathar's) the light domain no longer shows up as options I can choose from. I was curious if there is some sort of fix anyone had for this or am I just dumb and light domain is in a seperate book?
The Domain included in the Basic Rules is the Life Domain, if you want the Light Domain you will need to purchase either the Player's Handbook or the Domain itself. If you choose to purchase just the Domain it will reduce the future price the Player's Handbook as well as any bundles it is in by the amount you pay.

Okay thank you. I didn't realize there was a difference between Basic Rules and Player's Handbook
DDB also adds the SRD content in with the basic rules, the actual basic rules contain much less. The EEPC content is also free content.
